The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at the Circle K gas station on LaFayette Road just after midnight Tuesday, according to an HPD report.

A white male wearing a hoodie and a hat allegedly entered the store at around 12:30 a.m., brandished a handgun and demanded a cashier empty the cash register.
