A man was injured around 6 a.m. Monday at a home on Greenville Road after allegedly being assaulted and injured his ex-girlfriend, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.

The report stated that Daequon Forte, 20, Hopkinsville, had gotten into an altercation with his ex-girlfriend, when Forte was reportedly cut on the arm by a kitchen knife.

No information on the woman was released and she has not yet been arrested, the report added.

• John M. Linton, 36, Cerulean, was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday while at Canton Street for first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument after allegedly attempting to purchase items with a counterfeit $100 bill, according to an HPD report.

•Ashley Saunders reported that between 9 a.m. Sunday and 1 p.m. Monday someone stole his vehicle’s registration plate and $600 from inside his vehicle while it was at his home on Kenwood Drive, according to an HPD report.
