A woman was served a Christian County warrant at around 4 a.m. Monday while she was at the Christian County Jail for an alleged burglary and assault that occurred in late August.

According to a Hopkinsville Police Department report, Devin M. Blair, 32, Starkville, Mississippi, was served a Christian County warrant for charges of second-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault for an incident that occurred Aug. 26.

The report states Blair entered the apartment of Alexis Davie on Calvin Drive and assaulted her.

The report added that Blair was driven to the apartment by a co-defendant, Bryan C. Johnson, who reportedly had a relationship with Davie before she ended it a few weeks prior to the alleged assault.

Police believe that Blair also had a relationship with Johnson and is why she allegedly attacked Davie, the report said.

The following information was obtained through police, police reports or the Christian County Jail. Readers are reminded that a charge is only an accusation and everyone is entitled to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law
