Kentucky State Police arrested an Elkton man after conducting a search warrant Wednesday at a home in Sharon Grove, according to a KPS release.

While executing the warrant, KSP troopers discovered methamphetamine in a Chevy El Camino on the property.

KSP further investigated and discovered the meth allegedly belonged to Jeffery Dalton Smith, 22, Elkton.

Smith was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
