A shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in the area of North Elm Street led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department Facebook post.

The post states that officers were called to the 100 block of North Elm in reference to shots fired.

When police arrived, they determined that Jeffery Hollowell, 33, Hopkinsville, had fired several shots at a home on North Elm. However, no one was injured in the shooting, the post added.

No other details regarding the incident were released.

Hollowell was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property (firearm), using restricted ammunition during felony (shots fired, no injuries), second-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), possession of open alcohol beverage container in motor vehicle and possession of marijuana.
