A man was arrested after being served a warrant at around 9:40 a.m. Monday while at East 14th Street for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, causing an injury, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.

Laquandarius T. Murray, 21, Hopkinsville, was served a Christian County warrant for second-degree assault (domestic violence) for an incident that allegedly occurred on Sept. 29.

The warrant states Murray punched Kenyon Talley in the face and head, causing injuries.

The victim reportedly can still not see out of one of her eyes and was advised by her medical provider that her eye will need surgery as it has a “traumatic hole,” according to the warrant.
