The Hopkinsville-Christian County Violent Crimes Task Force arrested three suspects in connection with an October 2018 shooting on Grenville Road, on July 9 and 10, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department press release.

On July 5, investigators with the task force reportedly obtained indictments for Chamarcus Joyce, Jakwantrial Joyce, Monquayvious Mason, and Deaerion Downey on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment for their alleged involvement in the shooting last year.

Task force members arrested Chamarcus and Jakwantrial at their home on July 9. On July 10, Mason turned himself in for his alleged involvement at the Christian County Jail, the release stated.

The task force and HPD are asking anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Downey to contact HPD at 270-890-1300, or submit an anonymous tip through our Crime Stoppers number at 270-887-TIPS (8477).
