Four individuals were arrested at 1 p.m. Friday at an apartment on South Virginia Street for alleged drug trafficking after police searched the home following an arrest warrant, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.
The report states officers were at the apartment in an attempt to locate an individual with an active arrest warrant.
Police were reportedly granted a search warrant and located over two grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, three grams of marijuana and other items allegedly consistent with drug trafficking, the report said.
Four individuals, Angela D. Garcia, 39, Hopkinsville, Ty Mayton, 38, Hopkinsville, James R. Ferrell, 39, Crofton, and Samuel Balderas, 61, Lubbock, Texas, were all inside the home at the time of the search.
All four were charged with first-degree trafficking in meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Balderas had an additional charge of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
