A Hopkinsville man was arrested at 10 a.m. Monday while on Sivley Road for theft by failure to make required disposition of property over $500, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.

A Hopkinsville Rent-A-Center employee reported to police that on Aug. 3, William L. London, 21, failed to return a 55-inch TV and an Xbox ONE X, both valued over $500 that he had rented from the Rent-A-Center, the report stated.

London allegedly stopped his payments to the shop and after several requests to return the items, has yet to do so.

• Tahj Jones, 16, Hopkinsville reported to police that an unknown individual struck him on the head with a glass bottle, resulting in visible injuries between 6:11 and 6:50 p.m. Monday while at an apartment on West 18th Street, according to an HPD report.
