A man was arrested at 2 p.m. Monday while on West Seventh Street for an alleged assault, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.

Mory Burse, 35, Hopkinsville, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault after allegedly assaulting his neighbor, breaking his nose and causing a severe laceration to his right eyebrow, the report stated.

No other information on the altercation was provided.

Bronaugh, 23, Crofton, was arrested at 2 p.m. Monday while on Eagle Way following a traffic stop for speeding 17 miles per hour over the limit, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence, according to an HPD report.
