A man and woman were arrested after one of them hit two people with a car following a fight early Wednesday morning at Big Blue Court and Colonette Drive.
According to a Hopkinsville police report, Brian Macklin, 25, Union City, was charged with four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment in the incident while Lanautica D. Smith, 22, Clarksville, was charged with two counts of first-degree assault.
Korbyn Newsome and Tevin Branch told police that around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday Smith got behind the wheel of a car and hit both of them with the car after a fight broke out, the report stated.
Newsome and Branch were seriously injured and had to be transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for their injuries, according to the report.
The report added that Macklin got into a seperate vehicle and attempted to hit them as well as others, putting four people in danger of serious injury.
