Holloway honored for lifting voices of Korean War soldiers

Mayor Wendell Lynch, left, a field representative for Congressman James Comer, Corey Elder and Roger Holloway, a retired Buffalo Soldier, hold a Congressional Record dedicated to Holloway for his dedication to telling the story of his fellow Buffalo Soldiers’ service during the Korean War so that they may not be forgotten. “Congressman Comer and I, we wanted to honor you on the House floor — I’m sure you’ve seen the video of him mentioning your story and bringing awareness on the House floor — it was definitely an honor for us to do that,” said Elder, before reading and giving the record to Holloway.
