Oak Grove police cruisers receiving upgrades

Photos taken from Facebook

Oak Grove Police Department is currently working on replacing in-car dash and body cam equipment and adding computers in seven of its cruisers. The new system is called WatchGuard and allows the department to have up-to-date body and dash cam equipment as well as an in-car computer that allows them to access the police citation system. With the new equipment officers can finish reports on the side of the road while in their vehicle, rather than having to return to post. This allows officers to stay in the community doing what they need to keep the public safe.
