Cindy Woodard

Cindy Lou Murphy Woodard, died Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, of natural causes.

Service will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Slaughter, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

A native of Greenville, Kentucky she was born April 1, 1965, the daughter of the late Garland Hurt and Patsy Murphy.

She was a member of St. John Baptist Church. She was employed as a Custodian for Tel-Tech.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Rev. Paul Smith (who raised her); siblings, Terry Smith, Phillip Smith, Twyla M. James, Starla Murphy, and Nathaniel Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby J. Woodard, Jr., Hopkinsville; daughters, Starnesha Murphy, Symone Bush, Hopkinsville; siblings, Ronnie Smith, Daniel Smith, Hopkinsville,Kenneth Smith, Clarksville, Dexter Smith, Texas, Ricky Buckner, Clarksville, Linda (Kenya) Appling, Michigan, Annette (Romelle) Matthews, Tupelo, Mississippi; and four grandsons.
