Sandy Dixon, 65, of Cadiz, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at Princeton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from noon until the funeral service time of 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Paul Cannon officiating. Burial will follow at Fuller Cemetery.

Born Feb. 17, 1955, in Trigg County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Glen and Helen Joyce (Sumner) Dixon.

Sandy was employed for several years as a seamstress at Elk Brand Manufacturing Company in Hopkinsville and Cadiz.

She is survived by two sons, Jeremy (Stephanie) Lipham of Canton, North Carolina and Daniel Knight of Cadiz; five grandchildren; a brother, Marvin Glen “Tinker” Dixon of Cadiz; and two sisters, Myra “Suzy” (Mark) Hrudika of Cadiz and Shelia (James) Faughn of Hopkinsville.
