Mary Alice Butler Weaver, 71, Pembroke, died at 7:12 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 818 Rose Drive of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Edgefield Baptist Church in Pembroke, with the Rev. Terry Duncan officiating.

Burial will be in Butler Town Cemetery in Pembroke.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time today at the church. Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Pembroke, she was born May 16, 1947, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Molly Mack Butler and Roland Butler Sr.

She was a seamstress at Flynn Enterprise for 15 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shaun Green.

Survivors include her children, the Rev. Terry L. (Cynthia) Duncan, Auburn, Kevin J. Duncan, Thomas E. Weaver Jr., Alicia Rene Duncan and the Rev. Roland (Ester) Butler Jr., all of Pembroke; the Rev. William (Linda) Butler, Houston, Marshall (Laura) Butler, Pembroke; Vincent Butler, Seattle, Washington, and Wallace (Yelanda) Butler, Pembroke; her sister, Alma (the Rev. Gray) Pettus, Pembroke; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
