Chris A. Williams, 61, Tanglewood Drive, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2019 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Lamb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the service hour Friday at the funeral home.

A native of Fulton, he was born July 12, 1958, the son of the late John Rayford Williams and Mary Ann Bonner Williams.

He retired as a detective after 20 years with Christian County Sheriff's Office. He was a criminal justice instructor. He also served previously as a police officer in Mayfield, Fulton and in Rolla, MO. He was the region 5 president of the American Criminal Justice Association.

Survivors include his wife, Nicole Williams, Hopkinsville; his sons, Chris (Alex) Beck, Cape Girardeau, MO, Wade (Chasidy) Terry and Wyatt Thomas, both of Hopkinsville; his daughters, Britney (Drew) Beck and Megan (Kody) Terry, both of Hopkinsville; his brother, Jeff Williams, Murray, KY; his sisters, Mary Susan Comer, Paducah, KY, Lisa Williams, Arlington, KY, Lana Williams-You, Paducah, KY; and 6 grandchildren.
