John Andy Hopkins Sr., 69, Hopkinsville, died at 12:09 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Graveside services will be at noon Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

A native of Kennett, Mo., he was born Dec. 20, 1950, the son of the late David Imgene Hopkins and Minnie Genlda Yancey Hopkins.

He was a corrections officer with the Columbiana County, Ohio County Jail and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his sons, John Andy (Jami) Hopkins Jr., Lincoln, Neb., and Michael Anthony (Juli) Hopkins, Alvin, Texas; his daughters, Kathy Hopkins and Tracie (Steven) Dietz, both of Hopkinsville; his brothers, Bob (Marcia) Hopkins, Bill (Ronnie) Hopkins, Don Hopkins and Willie Paul (Holly) Hopkins, all of St. Louis County, Mo.; his sisters, Joan Miller, St. Louis County, Mo., and Dorothy Attey, Redline, Penn.; 12 grandchild-

ren and one great-grandchild.
