Lolita Diane White Simmons, 52, passed away August 28, 2021, at her home in Pensacola, Fla., of natural causes.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2021, at Gainesville Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Francis officiating. Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla. There will be a walk through visitation Monday, 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church. Masks are required. Gamble Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Christian County, she was born November 10, 1968, daughter of James and Bertha Metcalfe White, Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Lolita was preceded in death by one sister, Christian White Haskins.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Simmons, III of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Tempest Simmons and Janiyah Simmons, both of Pensacola, Fla.; three sons, Derrel (Victoria) Mason of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; Joseph Simmons, IV and Julian Simmons and Pensacola, Fla.; brother, James White of Hopkinsville; sisters, Barbara Baker, Sandra (James) Wallace, Anna (John) Trice, Tina (Lonnie) Lesueur, Vicky (Michael) Anderson, all of Hopkinsville and four grandchildren.
