Izeta Brown Martin, 84 of Elkton, passed away Friday afternoon, September 10, 2021, at her home after a long battle of cancer.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 5-8 p.m. in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 10-11 a.m. at the Petrie Memorial United Methodist Church in Elkton, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Matt Seel officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Martin was born September 13, 1936 in Elkton, KY the daughter of the late Julius V. Brown and Erma Lee Hightower Robertson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Novice S. Martin, and two sisters, Helen Brown Deba and Mary Glenn Robertson.

She is survived by her son, Robert Martin of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Doris Kelly and her husband Jimmy of Guthrie; one grandchild, four nieces, and two nephews.

The family requests that anyone who attends the services to please wear a mask to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
