Janice Michelle Richardson, 45, Lexington, formerly of Hopkinsville, died at 3:25 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, at Bluegrass Hospice Lexington, of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Day officiating.

Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time Thursday at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, she was born July 31, 1974, the daughter of James (Johnetta) Leavell Sr., Hopkinsville, and the late Barbara Ann Day.

She was disabled.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Richardson, and her brother, Desmond Leavell.

Survivors include her daughter, Cache Richardson; her sons, Javea Richardson and Shaveon Richardson, all of Lexington; her grandmother, Alberta Swafford; her stepmother, Nancy Watkins, Hopkinsville; her sisters, LaRhonda Leavell, Hopkinsville, Charisma Leavell, Hopkinsville, Celeste Shemwell, Florida, Erica Moody, Clarksville, Bernita Edwards, Hopkinsville, Sherida Smith, Las Vegas, Nevada, Jenyika Boyd, Louisville, Tiffany Mays, Hopkinsville, Shannon Motley, Louisville, Nashima Brown, Hopkinsville, Nicolette Riley, Owensboro; her brothers, James Day, Lexington, Robert Day, Dillwin, Va., James W. Leavell Jr., Owensboro, Benzarius Watkins, Darrius Mumford, Antonio Brown, Barri Brown, Jay Bradley, DeAarion Sanders, all of Hopkinsville; and three grandchildren.
