Carolyn J. Kraick, 92, of Hopkinsville, died at 1:05 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Huck and Rev. Chris Lewis officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at First United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Fort Wayne, Ind. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Fort Wayne, Ind., she was born August 2, 1930, the daughter of the late Victor Grant Ehrhardt and Phyllis Pearl Jackson Ehrhardt. She retired from Christian County High School, where she served as the secretary for 32 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the Keenagers. She also served as a Hospice Volunteer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Kraick; and her daughter, Collen Kraick.

Survivors include her son, Bruce (Jeanne) Kraick of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her daughter, Dawn (Larry) Francis of Hopkinsville; her sister, Marilyn Norton of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her grandchildren, Elissa Tucker, Barret (Ming) Francis, Matthew (Holly) Kraick, Travis (Margaret) Kraick, and Kimberly (Richard) Krieg; and six great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Giver’s Favorite Charity.
