Dorothy Ann Hardy White, 69, Hopkinsville, died at 1:33 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, at Baptist Health Madisonville of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. N.A. Kirby. Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Gamble Funeral Home.

A native of Christian County, she was born Jan. 10, 1950, the daughter of the late Frank Gilbert Hardy and Iona Davis Hardy.

She was an operator for Phillips Products and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers.

Survivors include her husband, James White Sr.; her son, James (Wendy) Johnson Jr., Lexington; her daughters, Cynthia (Lee Donald) Johnson Gray and Javonte White, both of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Lucy Mae Franklin, Louisville, Mary (Howard) Williams, Radcliff, Louise Lee, Christine Hardy and Rosie Jones, all of Hopkinsville; her brothers, John (Beverly) Hardy and Bobby Wayne Hardy, both of Hopkinsville; her stepchildren, Letitia Jones, Antioch, Tennessee, James White, Louisville, James White Jr., Murfreesboro, Jamie Majors, Mount Juliet, Tennessee; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
