Mary Josephine Pool, 93, Hopkinsville, died at 1:10 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2019, at Christian Health Center of natural causes.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Haley officiating and burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Trigg County, she was born March 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Marvin Woods Davis and Pearl Keel Davis.

She worked for over 50 years for Flynn Enterprises. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Pool, in 2005 and her sister, Lucille Bryant.

Survivors include her son, Roger Pool, Hopkinsville; her daughter Paulette (Phil) Keller, Hopkinsville; her sister, Dixie Bush, Cadiz; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Christian County Humane Society or Max’s Hope Pet Rescue.
