Lillie Bell Irvin Cherry Catlett, 89, died Monday, July 12, 2021, at her home of natural causes.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Home with Rev. Vice Killebrew officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery. There will be a walk through visitation Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Gamble Funeral Home. Masks are required if attending the funeral service.

A native of Christian County, she was born April 5, 1932, daughter of the late William and Gracey O’Hara Irvin.

Lillie was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church and also a member of the Circle #5 Missionary.

Lillie was employed several years as a patient aide and also in the dietary department with Western State Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Clarence Catlett, two daughters, Janet Cherry Cash and Lillian Faye Cherry.

She is survived by her children, Frank Cherry, Jr., Perry Cherry, David Cherry, Stafford Cherry and Rev. Anthony (Shirley) Cherry all of Hopkinsville; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
