Roger Willis Woolfolk, 67 Christian County, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020 at Alive Hospice, Nashville, Tenn.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. C.E. Timberlake officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

A native of Maxton, NC, he was born on May 17, 1953 son of the late George Phelmetta and Mildred Hodges George Woolfolk. He was a former welder and mechanic for United Aluminum and a US Army veteran.

In additions to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Chinna Paige, six brothers, George Woolfolk, Jr. John Woolfolk, William Davis, Ronald Phelmetta, George Phelmetta, Jr., and Douglas Phelmetta.

Survivors include, his wife, Wanda Pollard Woolfolk, Hopkinsville; two sons, Min. Terrance (Elizabeth) Pollard, Charlotte, NC, Jerry Woolfolk, Houston, Texas; a daughter, Tawanna Woolfolk, Seymour, Conn.; two brothers, Antoine Paige, Vincent Paige, New Haven, Conn.; five sisters, Diana Woolfolk Hamden, Conn., Tina Phelmetta, Carol Phelmetta, Juanita Phelmetta and Sharliese Paige, New Haven, Conn.; and eight grandchildren.
