Ronald Wesley Gonder, 74, Cerulean, died at 3:14 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

A memorial service will be at a later date. Hughart Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Port Huron, Mich., he was born May 27, 1945, the son of the late Wesley Jacob Gonder and Florence Maybel Seward Gonder.

He served his country for six years in the United States Army. He also worked many years as a mechanic and carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stephan Craig “Gonzo” Gonder.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Faye Williams Gonder; sons, Bobby Bilyeu and Michael Bilyeu, both of Hopkinsville; daughters, Amanda (Ronnie) Hall, Elkton, Ramonda (Todd) Quick, Cerulean, Cathy (Josephus) Prettyman, Ludowici, Ga., Donna Orten, Clarksville, and Kimberly (Neil) Gardner, Hopkinsville; sisters, Sandy Hernandez, Granite City, Ill., Barbara Ferreira, Sarnia, Ontario, Jacquelin Berraudo; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
