Hazel Lucille Johnson, 90, Niagara, Kentucky, formerly of Sharon Grove, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at the Saint Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Center in Henderson of natural causes.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Shane Hessey officiating. Interment will follow at the Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

A native of Sharon Grove, she was born Feb. 11, 1929, the daughter of the late Hobart and Annie Baggett Tabb.

She was a member of the former Rangers Landing Missionary Baptist Church and later attended Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Lem Johnson; one daughter Kathleen Johnson; and three brothers Odell Baggett, Dennis and Dallas Tabb.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Shannon) Johnson, Evansville, Ind.; three daughters Linda (Morris) Schmidt, Brenda (Gerald) Jones, both of Henderson, and Shirley (Dennis) Thomas, Niagara, Kentucky; six grandchildren and nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in Henderson County.
