Phillip Wayne Calloway, 64, of Queens, New York, died on March 26, 2021 peacefully at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, New York.

Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.

He was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on March 6, 1957 and graduated from Hopkinsville High School. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Easton, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Christine Giles.

He is survived by his wife, June Lockhart-Calloway; son, Phillip (Tiger) Calloway II; stepdaughter, Lamonica Harris; sisters, Alice Wakefield, Carmen Giles, and Regenia Giles; brothers Kenneth (Charlene) Giles, and Ronald (Debbie) Giles; uncle, John Giles; four grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.

The family of Phillip Calloway wishes to thank Jamaica Queens Hospital and Calvary Hospital Palliative Care.
