Doris Christine Lile Neeley, 94, of South Virginia Street, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, at her home of natural causes.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at Lamb Funeral Home with the Rev. David Harrison officiating.

The body will be cremated.

A native of Christian County, she was born Aug. 8, 1924, the daughter of the late Charles Walter Lile and Ollie Corley Lile.

She was a safety supervisor at Andrews Air Force in Rome, New York. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Hunting Creek Homemakers, the Hunting Creek Garden Club and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Al" C. Neeley; her brothers, Roscoe Lile, Raymond Lile, Herman Lile, Harold Lile, Howard Lile and Fred Lile; and her sisters, Stacye Lile, Stella Carter, Irene Slingerland and Mabel Perkins.

Survivors include her nephews and nieces.
