Jane E. McCargo, 91, Five Oaks Lane, Russellville, Kentucky, died on Sept. 8, 2019, at Creekwood Place Nursing & Rehab Center in Russellville of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lamb Funeral Home in Hopkinsville with Leon Smith officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.

A native of Russellville, Kentucky, she was born Feb. 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Thomas Goble and Mrytle Lucinda Gamblin.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Morton's Gap.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth McCargo; her son, Gary McCargo; and her sister, Mae Harrellson.

Survivors include her brother, Truman Gamblin, Morton’s Gap; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to Alzheimer Association of Kentucky.
