Queenastere Bailey Thornton Turnley, 65, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, TN.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Durrett Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery. There will be a Walk Thru visitation Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Church.

A native of Christian County she was born July 3, 1955, daughter of the late John Edd Bailey and Georgia Carter.

She was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church. She had previously worked for several Nursing Homes in the Dietary Department.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Linton Turnley, Hopkinsville; children; Terry Wayne Coleman, Louisville, KY, Tracey Lynn Coleman, Kenneth Lamont (Montessa) Thornton, Mark Thornton, Hopkinsville, Michael Jr. (LaTonya) Thornton, Victorville, CA, LaShunda (James) Davis, Savannah, GA; siblings, Julia West, Leona Bailey, Lillian (Marian) Wimberly, Bishop George (Shelia) Bailey, Hopkinsville, Betty Jo Warner, Pensacola, FL, Irene Greenwade, Minnesota; J.T. Bailey, Detroit, MI; stepdaughter, Shannon Turnley Alabama; a host of grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
