William Blake, 79, Hopkinsville, died Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Spring Meadows Health Care Center.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Blake Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the service time Saturday at the funeral home.

A native of Todd County, he was born June 11, 1940, the son of the late Richard and Effie Whitman Blake.

He was owner of Bill Auto Electric and was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Timothy Blake.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Hall Blake, Hopkinsville; his daughter, Tracy (Jose) King, Clarksville; his brothers, Etherd (Diane) Blake, Elkton, and Dan (Nancy) Blake, Hopkinsville; his sisters, Rita (Earl) Casey, Lewisburg, and Ann (John) Wilson, Clifty; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his honor to Blake Cemetery, 3412 Greenwood Drive, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
