Sonia Yvette Carneal, 48, Woolridge Road, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. William Coleman officiating.

Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time Friday at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, she was born July 25, 1970, the daughter of the late James Carneal and Robbye Carneal.

She was a homemaker and a member of Rockcastle Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mumford.

Survivors include her son, Jarvis (Teresa Joi) Carneal; her daughters, Tiffany Carneal, Kamishia Mumford, Cadejua Mumford and Mikayla Grooms, all of Hopkinsville; her brothers, Robert (Brenda) Carneal, Clarksville, Joe (Connie) Carneal, Smyrna, Tennessee, Donnie (Beulah) Carneal and Bobby Carneal, both of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Anita Carneal and Deborah (Earnest) Davie, both of Hopkinsville; and eight grandchildren.
