Travis Darnell Hobbs, 44, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021, in Madisonville of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Earlington with Rev. Terrance Minor officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington. There will be a walk through visitation Thursday, 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the church. Masks are required. Gamble Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.

A native of Hopkins County, he was born September 25, 1976, son of Carol Harrison Gilmore of Earlington, and the late Rudell Hobbs, Jr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by, two children, Rhayona Hobbs and Travis Hobbs of Madisonville; step-mother, Shirley Hobbs of Evansville, Ind.; siblings, Sonya (Tony) Pillow of Providence, Tracey Gilmore of Clarksville, Tenn., Melanie (George) Russell, Evansville, Ind., Felicia Newton of Denver, Colo., Rudell Hobbs, III of Colorado, Deondra (Thomas) Roach of Clarksville, Tenn.; step-brother, Aaron Sheets of Evansville, Ind., and two grandchildren.
