Curtis E. Hamilton, 72, formerly of Christian County, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019,

A Celebration of Life service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, at The Park Church of Christ in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

A native of Emporia, Kansas, he was born Aug. 17, 1946, the son of Mildred Dorton Hamilton and the late JD Hamilton.

He was a dental lab owner and a U.S. Army veteran with the rank of first lieutenant.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sharon Hamilton, of the home; his son, Wes (Teresa) Hamilton, Broken Arrow; his daughter, Ashley (Matt) Robinson, Wagoner; his sisters, Shirley Pillleri and Doris Turner; and four grandchildren.
