Rebecca "Becky" Woodruff, 88, Cadiz, died at 1:52 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at her home in Cadiz of natural causes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Martin and the Rev. Kevin Deibert officiating.

Burial will be in Woodruff's Cemetery in Cadiz.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

A native of Benton, she was born Sept. 7, 1930, the daughter of the late James "Bunk" Smith and Mary Agnes (Edwards) Jones.

She was a retired hog and cattle farmer and astute businesswoman. She was a former recipient of the Trigg County Ham Festival Farmer of the Year Award. She was a member of the Cadiz Kiwanis Club and a longtime member of Cadiz Christian Church, where she served as an elder.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Woodruff; her son, Steve Free; and her stepdaughter, Marcia Ann Woodruff.

Survivors include her son, Flint (Shelia) Free, Cadiz; her daughters, Brenda Sue (David) Buffman, Poinciana, Florida, and Pamelia Ann (Jim) Wallace, Gilbertsville; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice, 220 Burley Ave., Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
