Sheila Tandy Goode, 82, Hopkinsville, died at 11:18 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, at Baptist Health in Louisville.

Funeral mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time Monday at the church. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Louisville, she was born Jan. 30, 1937, the daughter of the late Morris Tandy and Stella McGrath Tandy.

She was a 1954 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville and went on to attend St. Anthony’s Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse in Louisville for Drs. Podol and Fowler.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Lyndon Scribner “Scrib” Goode; her sons, Joe Goode and Chris Goode, both of Hopkinsville; her daughter, Elizabeth Goode Cobb, Louisville; her sister, Brenda Tandy (Tom) Brown, Louisville; three grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
