Gaynell Christian, 93, Elkton, died Monday, June 1, 2020, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville of natural causes.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Suber officiating. Interment will follow at the Elkton Glenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until the service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid19), there will be limited capacity. It is required that if you attend the visitation or service that you wear a mask and refrain from shaking hands and hugging as well as social distancing and keeping 6 feet apart.

A native of Todd County, she was born May 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Jim and Emma Clark Christian.

She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Elkton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Christian; and five sisters, Willie Harrell, Lucy Osborne, Mattie, Minnie and Lottie Christian.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Christian, Elkton; two daughters, Jeaneth Christian and Pamela Christian, both of Elkton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
