Walton Jackson Ebling, 78, Hopkinsville, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Crick officiating and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at funeral home.

A native of Muhlenberg County, he was born May 18, 1941, the son of the late William Clarence “Jack” and Stella Lee Ebling.

He started his career as a truck driver for Rogers Group & Howard Morris Trucking, he then went on to work for McIntosh Construction in Clarksville where he retired. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Lonnie Ebling, Verno Ebling and Bunk Ebling; his two sisters, Christina Martin and Wiladean Crick.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Martha F. Ebling, Hopkinsville; his daughter, Frances “Fran” (Jerry) Adams, Hopkinsville; one granddaughter, Lillie (Mark Whitledge) Stokes, Webster County; one great grandson.
