The Rev. Ronald "Pete" Caldwell, 65, Guthrie, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at his residence of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Brown II officiating.

Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Adams and Sons Mortuary, and from noon until the funeral hour Saturday at the church.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Aug. 3, 1953, the son of the late George A. Caldwell and July Mary Rankin Caldwell.

He was retired and had worked at Flynn Enterprises, Wyatt Johnson and state industries in maintenance.

He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Anthony Wayne Clardy.

Survivors include his spouse, Hazel Lee Morreno Caldwell, Guthrie; three daughters, Dishon (Bill) Campbell, El Paso, Texas, Keionna Smith and Kena Maxie Gonzalez, both of Hopkinsville; one step son, Jeffrey L. (Tameka) Clardy, Springfield, Tennessee; one brother, Renwick (Clara) Caldwell, Orlando, Florida; four sisters, Sandra L. Jones, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Shelia (Johnny) McDonald, Memphis, Tennessee, Sherry R. White, Lexington, and Michelle Caldwell, Hopkinsville; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
