Janie Barrow, 71, Elkton, died Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from injuries she sustained when she was struck by a car at her residence.

Private services will be at Latham Funeral Home. The public is invited to watch the live stream of the services at 9 a.m. Monday by going to lathamfuneral

There will be no public visitation. The Rev. Mike Cummings will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.

A native of Allegre, she was born Oct. 22, 1948, the daughter of the late Robert Jordan and Velma Inas Pierce Jordan.

She has been employed as an insurance agent with Willis Insurance and later with Marklin Insurance, both in Elkton. She was a member of Elkton Baptist Church where she was a member of WMU and several other committees.

Suurviors include her husband, Jimmy Barrow, Elkton; son, Jason G. (Ele) Barrow, Bowling Green; brother, Jeff Jordan, Allegre; sisters, Faye McCuiston, Dawson Springs, Sue Weathers, Elkton, Charlene Faulkner, Hopkinsville, Wanda Whitman, Allegre; and two granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Onieda Baptist Institute, P.O. Box 67, Onieda, KY 40972.
