Timothy R. Wharton, 56, Hopkinsville, died at 7:51 a.m. Sunday, May 31, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

A service with limited capacity will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Wharton officiating.

A drive-by visitation will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A native of Cadiz, he was born Jan. 3, 1964. He was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Teneshia Wharton.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Wharton, Hopkinsville; his children, Slyvia P. (Ian) Smith, Hopkinsville, Timothy W. (Brittany) Wharton, Fayetteville, N.C., LeKeshia Wharton, Henderson, Devon R. Wharton, Bowling Green; siblings, Tony J. Wharton, of Virginia, Mark W. (Davina) Wharton Sr., Fayetteville, N.C., Jackie P. (Vera) Wharton, Hopkinsville, Charlie Wharton, Lexington, Lottie Hunters, Fayetteville, N.C., Mary Wharton, Bronx, N.Y., Barbara (Cleo) Morrison, of South Carolina, Linda Shead, Oak Grove; and six grandchildren.
