C.A. Thomas Jr., 79, Hopkinsville, died on April 4, 2020, at his home.

There will be a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Highland Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Thomas was born in Hopkinsville, KY on June 16, 1940, the son of the late Claude and Nola Lance Thomas. C.A. was a farmer, realtor and multiple jobs for Pepsi-Cola.He was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church where he was a former elder, and he was a singer for the SonShiners Quartet for years.

In addition to his parents, preceding him in death is his granddaughter, Jennifer Paige Crossett.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Thomas of Oak Grove; his son, Kirk (Audra) Thomas of Oveido, FL; his two daughters, Christy (Mark) Astin of Raleigh, NC, and Sherry Thomas of Hopkinsville; his stepson, Joshua (Leslie) Brown of Louisville; his two step daughters, Ashley Webster of Hopkinsville and Kylee Brown of Pembroke; his two brothers, Jerry (Bernie) Thomas of Hopkinsville and Bill (Petty) Thomas of Georgia; his two sisters, DeeAnna McGhee of Hopkinsville and Sue Gallagher of Nashville, TN; his 15 grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his honor to Cornell Memory Center at 101 North Drive, Hopkinsville, KY 42240. Or Highland Presbyterian Church Building Fund at P.O Box 1615, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
