Kent Allen "Slo" Baker, 66, Cadiz, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. E.A. Brown officiating.

Burial with military rites will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral service Tuesday at the church. King's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Nov. 5, 1952, the son of the late Clyde and Lillie Mae Street Baker.

He had worked at Bailey Lumber Co., Elk Brand and D & W Fine Pack. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Baker, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baker and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Street.

Survivors include his wife, Helena Martin Baker, Cadiz; his son, Lt. Jason S. (Yolanda) Baker, Roswell, Georgia; his daughters, Jamie Baker (Andre) Doughlin, Lakeland, Florida, Sharee Radford Jones, Atlanta, and Shannon Radford (William) Hughes, Douglasville, Georgia; his brother, the Rev. Kenneth (Irene) Baker, Huber Heights, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.
