Randy Earl Thomas, 67, Cadiz, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Cannon officiating.

Burial will be at Peyton Thomas Cemetery in Cadiz.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born March 3, 1952, the son of Mary Ann (Sumner) Thomas, Cadiz, and the late Earl Benard Thomas.

He retired from Phelps Dodge in Hopkinsville, after which he worked briefly as a truck driver for Bestway and also served as a deputy jailer in Christian County. He was a member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his sons, Shaun (Margaret) Thomas, Cadiz, and Scott Thomas, Akron, Ohio; his daughter, Stephanie (Brad) Boyd, Hopkinsville; his sister, Jill (Ken) Thomas Harrison, Cadiz; and three grandchildren.
