Doris Cecelia Bingham Irvin, age 85, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2020 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center, Paducah, Kentucky.
Service will be at noon, Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Bingham officiating. Burial will be in New Crown Cemetery, Indianapolis.
A walk-through visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m, Saturday, at Gamble Funeral Home.
A native of Trigg County, she was born June 25, 1935, daughter of the late John Henry and Clara Larkins Bingham.
Doris retired as a Mental Health Technician, she was also a retired Cosmetologist. She was a member of Bloomfield where she served on the Mother’s Board.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd E. Washington and seven siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Elliott P. Irvin, Cadiz; six children, Gerald (Regina) Merriweather, Augusta, Georgia; Sanford (Marcia) Irvin, Bowling Green; Christopher Irvin, Pricetta Boyd, Corkey (Janice) Irvin, Preshion (Loretta) Irvin, Cadiz, and Gregory Irvin, Chicago; sister, Gladys Tinsley, Cadiz; 24 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
