Edrick Reese

Edrick Ontwan Reese, age 45, passed away on Friday May 28, 2021 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday June 4, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Lane Tabernacle CME Church in Hopkinsville. There will be a visitation from 11a.m. until the commencing of the funeral. The burial service will take place at the Cave Spring Cemetery in Hopkinsville. Dr. Darvin A. Adams I will be officiating. Adams and Sons Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements.

Born in Hopkinsville on September 25, 1975, Edrick is the son of Toni Evelyn Reese Mason. He first joined the St. John Baptist Church and later he became a full member of the Lane Tabernacle CME Church. He was employed in customer service at Wal-Mart and Food Lion. Edrick also worked at the Boys and Girls Club in Hopkinsville. A 1994 graduate of Christian County High School, Edrick kept statistics for the Christian County Boys Basketball tea.m. and he was an assistant coach in the local Junior Pro Basketball League.

Edrick is survived by his mother, Toni Evelyn Reese Mason of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; his stepfather, Alvin Mason of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one son, Christopher (Jacqueline) Reese of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one daughter, Janiyah Brown of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; one brother, Deondra (Andrea) Winn of Louisville, Kentucky; three sisters, Latonya Mason of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Shalanda (Shane) Crowder of Lexington, Kentucky and Tamika (Tyrell) Briggs of Bridgeport, Connecticut; three aunts, Alice Reeves and Shirley Hall both of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Patricia Forge of Louisville, Kentucky; seven uncles, Ike (Janice) White and David White both of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Jerry (Melina) Reese and Michael (Valerie) Reese both of Lexington, Kentucky, Joe (Irene) Reese of Louisville, Kentucky, Robert Reese of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jack (Donna) Reese of Paducah, Kentucky.
