Susanna Warfield Thorpe, 91, Hopkinsville, died at 9:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Hardy officiating.

Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Friday at the funeral home.

A native of Guthrie, she was born Nov. 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Douglas Warfield and Jesse B. Ingram Warfield.

She was a cook at Fort Bragg Military School and was an usher at William Chapel Baptist Church in Spring Lake, N.C.

Survivors include her husband, Ervin L. Thorpe, Hopkinsville; her son, Leonard Warfield, Cleveland, Ohio; her sisters, Annie Terry, Rosie Hardy, both of Guthrie, and Dorothy Grove, Indianapolis, Ind.
