Floyd Cotterell

Floyd Eugene Cotterell , age 81, passed quietly into the presence of his Savior, Jesus, on Friday Morning. November 20, 2020.

Funeral services will be private and that Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born in Noble, Illinois on December 30, 1938. He loved the Lord with all his heart, and was a dedicated member at Westview Assembly of God in Hopkinsville Kentucky, and was under the leadership of his beloved Pastors Don and Kathy Marsh.

He loved fishing and going to yard sales, he also loved spending time with his beloved wife Joann, and all of his children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, as they were his greatest blessings in this life.

His greatest desire was for everyone, not just his family and friends, but for all to know Gods love for them and salvation through Christ.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father: Alvin and Freda (Eck) Cotterell; wife: Diane (Gibson) Cotterell; Grandson: Craig Matthew Cotterell; his brothers: Claude and Gilbert; and sisters: Minnie, Gracie and Mary.

He is survived by his wife Joann Kennedy Cotterell, sons: Danny (Cheryl) Cotterell Clarksville, Tennessee, Randy (Dan) Lebanon, Tn; his daughters: Mary (David) Williams of Sevierville, Tennessee and Wendy Cotterell of Indianapolis, Indiana; a brother: Leonard (Rita) Cotterell; and sister Bessie Smith.

He had 6 grandchildren: Christina (Balvino) Lopez, Daniel (Amber) Cotterell, Danae (Earl) Rodriguez, Caralyn (Sam) Murphy, and Cassandra Cotterell, all of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Kadence Williams of Sevierville, Tn; and 5 great grandchildren: Rylan and Addysen Lopez and Mason, Lucas, and Selena Rodriguez all of Clarksville, Tn.
